James Robot are a South London rock band who have been writing and gigging since late 2008. They put on an electric live show and love to play to new audiences. James Robot are currently unsigned.
JR started when Adam and Dave wrote 'Ghost Train' in the back garden. Many gigs followed with Andy on the drums and the JR sound was completed when Frank joined on lead guitar.
James Robot's sound is individual: every song is different. From the fragile melodic beauty of 'Memory of Youth' to the threatening 'Armegeddon,' the James Robot sound refuses to be pinned down. 'Ghost Train' is the best example of JR's combination of their early alternative-country and their current harder rock souns.
In 2010 James Robot's ambitions are to play as many gigs as possible, get played on a radio station, write next year's christmas number one (in any country) record albums full of new songs and play festivals all over Europe.
